Merry Christmas to everyone! I am sorry that I haven't had a chance to get a Christmas message out, but I did want to take the time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you so much for your business and support in 2008 and I look forward to working with you in 2009. It has been such a pleasure to be able to capture memories for you to cherish for years to come. If anything, this past year has really reminded me that we never know when our time will come and that it is so important to enjoy each day and each moment. I am so thankful I have the images I do of my father in law and my kids, as I will cherish them forever!

Thank you again for your sweet words and messages. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. Thank you again!!
All my best.. Annie

By the way... we dont typically walk around with crab hats on, but our good friends from Alaska sent them to us for Christmas, so we HAD to wear them!! :)

He will be greatly missed...

I am sorry i havent posted in a while, this month has just seemed to get away from me. We have been dealing with a terrible family tragedy for the past two weeks as my father in law passed away from a sudden and tragic death. He and my two children were very close and this image of them on the tractor is so how I remember them. they loved to work on the farm together. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly by all those who know him. It is so hard to let go of someone you dearly love, but we just have to trust that he is in a better place with God and all the wonderful people that have left this Earth before him.

Thank you for patience with me this fall. The last two months have just felt like one after the other with my husbands grandfather, step dad, step grandfather and my aunt passing, it has been one of those times. We will get through and we are getting through with each passing day. My heart goes out to everyone who has to go through a time like this especially around the holidays.

Please take time to enjoy those around you and try not to get caught up in the little things, because really, they don't matter all that much. Be safe and I wish for you all a wonderful, safe, and blessed holiday season.

Be safe in the snow... and try to enjoy it too! :) It does bring a sense of peace and calm that is truly beautiful!

Happy Holidays!

"There are so many people that I am thankful for but I have to say I am most thankful for my parents. They have done so much for me over the years and have gotten me to where I am now - almost ready to go off to school! I can't believe it. They are amazing - they are there for me every step of the way, through the good and they bad, and back me up even when I am wrong - they are incredible! I can always rely on them and they have surrounded me with even more wonderful people like you and your family!"

I have known her since birth and am just so proud of the woman she has become and will contine to be!!

A time to be thankful!

So at this time of year I have to give a huge shout out to a person who is totally the powerhouse behind the scene at our house... my hubby! It is a busy time of year for everyone... especially photographers and my husband has dealt with my late nights, early mornings, and many evenings of me either at shoots or in my zone in the basement office editing away!! He is the reason I can do what I can do... and I do have to say I am so thankful! I don't often write a lot of personal stuff on here but in the midst of all of the holiday buzz, I wanted to stop and say a huge Thank You to him and to tall of the partners out there that help us make it through each day!

So in that sappy moment... I have my first freebie on my blog!! If you have made it through my sappy tribute to the man of my dreams and you email me first telling me someone that you are thankful for... then you will receive a complimentary tabletop 8x10 image from a session that has already taken place... BUT you must email me first and tell me a person you are thankful for and why!!! The first person to respond gets the prize:)!! Email me at

Time to get sappy!! :)

Good for the first person that emails me and images that are already on order are not a part of the offer. :)
